If you covered a flip flop with a cream sauce, he would probably love it. So naturally, I had high hopes for this recipe. Sautéed chicken with a cheesy cream sauce full of spinach and peppers. How could you go wrong? My hubby says this is one of the best “diet” foods I’ve made so far. P.S. The traditional Japanese version of soba noodles is made with buckwheat flour and is naturally gluten-free. Unfortunately for those of us who can’t eat gluten, most versions of soba found in the U.S. are made with wheat flour. When trying to figure out what to make for a small dinner at my place last Sunday, the first recipe suggested was a Soba Noodle Salad. I knew that gluten-free soba exists, but I wasn’t sure I would be able to find them in time for our dinner. The recipe turned out great. We started by making this Edamame with Ginger-Chile Dipping Sauce recipe (using gluten-free tamari). Spicy Gluten-Free Soba Noodle and Lamb Recipe (adapted from Bobby Flay) Directions Mix together 1/4 cup of the oil, five-spice powder and garlic in a large Ziploc bag, add the lamb and turn to coat in the mixture. Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce {My Go-To Dinner Saver!}

Exaggerating when I say this quick, creamy garlic alfredo sauce has changed how I view non-dinner nights. You know. Those nights when dinner just ain’t happening. Too many things going on. Too lazy (who, me??). The problem is, on nights like that, I just can’t handle the thought of dinner approaching and knowing I’m going to have to scrounge up something my kids will eat but I’ll probably find gag-worthy. Enter this sauce. We’ve made this no less than 10 times in the last month, and I have never, and I mean never, seen my kids gobble up anything so quickly. Embarrassingly, I have to admit, this sauce is even on the menu this week. Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce Note: I've only ever used 1% milk in this sauce and it works great for our tastes.
