BSustained is a business that provides training and catering services, using the combined skills of its multi-talented owner, Birgit Kehrer. The training, gardening and the catering feed into each other, informing and enhancing each other. As our slogan ‘Growing Skills – Feeding Confidence’ suggests, the business centres around the themes of building skills, enhancing confidence, growing (personally and horticulturally) and finding sustainable ways of living and eating. Starting with workshops and catering in the first year, we intend to go on to form a social enterprise to deliver the training to disadvantaged communities, while continuing to offer catering to private customers.
