The Emu Fan • Call for pricing • Woolen Mill Fan Company This is a total find, but it may be for only design junkies and high end interior designers, since these are handmade and pricing has to be HIGH. The Emu is one of a number of vintage designs that Jay McGinnis has created at this company in Nashville. You mount the fan and the motor separately (there is a lot of info on the site on this) and you drive the fan with a leather belt.

Back in 2005, the company I used to work for (before starting this site and Baekdal Plus ) bought this huge large format printer. It was a fun tool to have. The reason we bought it was to print posters for our shop, but we quickly found another use for it - wall-sized wallpapers.

Before we were complaining that Bane is less understandable than someone at 2am on their 21st birthday, we were reading about The Dark Knight’s adventures in the pages of a comic book. The same goes for The X-Men, Blade and a whole slew of other recent blockbusters. We got the dialogue in little, compact bubbles that didn’t allow for any drawn-out soliloquies that kept us for too long from Mario Brothers 3.
