Hand me a paintbrush and a piece of paper, and I’ll start to hyperventilate. It’s not the paper that does it. It’s the paintbrush. This means I’ll try just about anything to create original paper/art images using just about anything BUT a paintbrush.

I've changed the dimensions on this tutorial so you can make a bag from half a yard of fabric and lining. The bag I made previously, used half a metre, but I know a lot of you gals out there work in feet and inches so I very thoughtfully thought of you and altered it to only use a half a yard of standard 44" wide fabric. I'm so very kind and lovely like that. I'll just let you take the blame that I haven't tidied up today because I've been obsessed with doing this. O,k, you will need a large piece of paper measuring 26" x18" ( I taped a load of A4 pieces together) fold the paper in half so that it measures 13"x18". Mark out the measurements like so

How About Orange

My local library recently advertised a class for making paperclip chandeliers. Sadly it was for 6th graders, but it piqued my interest. I went home and Googled paperclip chandeliers (awesomeness!) and that led me to Lauren Manoogian's paperclip statement necklaces.
http://www.education.com/activity/article/foil-embossing/ Create art that just "pops" off the page! Foil embossing uses simple materials and tools to inspire your child to create an intricate and ornate design filled with patterns, shapes, and pictures. This project is a great open-ended activity for budding artists who just want to discover different processes and mediums. Encourage your child to explore and experiment with the embossing process through this exercise. Try a variety of embossing from the simple to the more complex.

It's Sunday afternoon and the snow is falling like powdered sugar over a sweet dessert. My kiddies noses are pressed against the window as they watch this magical confetti turn the ground into a soft white blanket. T heir excitement fills the air as they quickly gather their snow gear and prepare to step into a winter wonderland . http://www.craftberrybush.com/2010/12/march-of-penguins.html

http://www.lisas-craft-blog.com/2010/10/wire-wrapped-tree-of-life-ornament.html The other tutorials I've found online have been very basic and left a lot of unanswered questions. My goal with these instructions is to be very thorough, yet easy to understand. At the end I will explain the adjustments that are necessary for a pendant instead of an ornament. Let's get started!
