Before answering the question, it’s worth reminding ourselves of what the first three did. The first brought us steam power and early mechanisation, the second specialisation and mass production and the third revolutionised the work place by introducing computers. The fourth is about the introduction of wireless internet onto the factory floor so that machines can talk to each other and the use of artificial intelligence to allow them to re-configure themselves to produce tailor made products but on a mass production line.

We’ve become accustomed to robots capable of carrying out repetitive tasks reliably and precisely. I remember visiting a chocolate factory as a child and there were people whose job it was to look at all of the Maltesers passing them by and pick out the misshapen ones. China::.Superstar. Superstar - World’s Most Futuristic City - Moves Around The World Over the course of last year, I saw a lot of interesting architecture designs consisting of futuristic buildings and structures, however, the “Superstar” is the craziest that I have ever seen.

You don’t have to see many pictures of it to realize that, but we have a bunch of them so prepare to be amazed. The Superstar was designed by Chinese architects MAD and it’s destined to become “A Mobile China Town” with shopping malls, Chinese food restaurants, and other cultural exhibitions. The project will be presented at the 11th Venice Biennale in the “Uneternal City” section where 12 architects are introducing their ideas for “an anonymous suburban area of Rome.” The new China Town will be a floating city which will move all around the world and being a modern city of the future it will also be green as it’s going to produce its own energy and all the waste will be recycled. 8 Comments For This Post 1 Trackbacks For This Post. Sejong City - S.Korea. Kharadi | India. Living and shopping in Kharadi Zwarts & Jansma is working on a masterplan voor the new neighbourhood “Kharadi” on the outskirts of Pune, with 5 million inhabitants one of the largest cities in India.

Shops, apartments, offices and leisure facilities will be built on an area covering 6 hectares. Lack of space, congestion and noise are typical and often problematic features of Indian cities. The masterplan for Kharadi combines bustling activity with calm areas and keeps them in balance. Busy shopping streets, open recreational areas and nature are all present. The new neighbourhood is being segmented into distinctive plots. One part contains cinemas, shops, clubs and other leisure facilities and aims at a younger audience.
