NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A new Kickstarter-like platform for adult will launch on Aug. 10 by novelty manufacturer Ntimate, Inc.
"FleshStarter.com" has been in development for more than a year and is intended to complement existing crowdfunding sites, such as Kickstarter and IndieGoGo, that bar participation by adult oriented projects, according to the company. The website will provide the all-or-nothing funding technique used by Kickstarter, will host pitch videos produced by project creators, and will deliver features expected of a modern commercial crowdfunding platform. "Entrepreneurs in the adult, LGBT, and other marginalized categories presently shut out of existing crowdfunding opportunities can find an enthusiastic home for those same projects on FleshStarter," Jack Campbell, Ntimate CEO said. FleshStarter will feature each project with a main project image and short PG-rated description suitable for public view.
