Van Severen dies - Design Addict Forum
rest in peace Maarten I was fortunate, very fortunate to be able to work at Maarten van Severen's Plastic Box, in Ghent in Belgium, and as much as it was for a short time he and Caroline and Halewijn made certain that the product was timeless, "super real" was the quote to strike me most. His work will live on, his legacy will never die and for those that never got the chance to see his exuberance, I forgive you for to know the man is to see a true artist and designer, with a passion that I have only seen in my own father. I pray for him and those close to him.
