That was the key finding in a new study by boffins from Cornell University in New York, as vegetables were rebranded as s ‘X-Ray Vision carrots’, ‘Power Punch broccoli’ and ‘Silly Dilly green beans’. Two-thirds of children in the study (66%) choose the X-Ray carrots, while just 32% chose carrots regularly.
“The success of the changes is stupendous and the fun, low-cost nature of the change makes it all the more enticing,” the researchers said.
