Social Media Marketing. Have you ever had an audience member ask one of those questions that seems out of context at first, but it nags at you until you realize how important it was?
That happened to me several months ago when I was a presenter at a webinar with Christy Campbell of Socialware and Stephen Selby of LIMRA. We were talking about social media, and how marketers in a regulated industry could implement one without compliance problems. Christie Campbell was showing a slide on the social media lifecycle, and offering excellent advice on the pre-planning that implementing a successful social media campaign requires. She has just shown this excellent graphic of the lifecycle of a social media campaign in a regulated industry like insurance or financial services.
The question that I thought was out of context was, “But I can have a new social media profile set up in 15 minutes flat, and it’s free. The question nagged at me, though.

Often the ethics of a site owner gets overlooked / put aside in order to make a few more cents. Drawing money through into your on-line business does not mean side stepping your own ethics for that of the 'Making money on line' scams. many hours are spent creating and updating web based businesses. One wrong impression and those hours may be wasted if a negative viral impact is made and associated with your business.
As with any focused writing the environment that surrounds what you write reflects your ethics, the readers morals and thus how you want your site to be viewed. Start as you mean to go on and be. Three outlined steps to promoting your site.
Whether you are representing a corporation, small business based or working from home you are now involved somewhere between the 'create your own blog' concept to the 'professional blog services'. The primary focus of your writing will guide you through the marketing steps the feeds from your blog must surge past to encapsulate a prime place within the first page of the organic search engine page. The marketing steps exist from the primary concept that results from the reason the blog was to be created to the e-commerce or professional services involved during completion. Two immediate steps are to focus your writing to your intended targeted audience while on your site there are user friendly landing pages.
From these two involved steps there comes the 'I've shared it among friends and family - What's next? ' 'Now, while these basic steps are still happening, there are a different set of steps to take. Awards out there - cve4me. Blogging - the journey. Go on..
Nominate and support a friend. Have you ever taken the time to recognise the 'man-hours' knowledge gained and simple creativity that goes into creating the best blog that you know how? Once you see someone who has become familiar with the key pad type away and letters forming words come up on to the screen that person may make it appear easy...as in just another day in front of the computer screen. Out of curiousity have you then sat down in front of the key board and tried to copy what that person did...without a set of instruction other than what you visually saw them do?
Not so easy is it. At this point you have either given up [lots of people challenge themselves only within their comfort zone] while a few others step outside that comfort zone and creatively keep going, - one step at a time.
