I love toy cameras because they produce unexpected and messy images. A few months ago I shared my camera list (all of the camera equipment that I use often!) And I thought it would be fun to share a few toy cameras as well! Yesterday I blogged about my new Kitty Cat Camera and here are a few others that I absolutely adore (and a few from my wish list as well!).... 1. Uses 35mm film. 2. Uses 35mm film. 3. Uses 35mm film.

Uses 35mm film. Its 22mm wide-angle lens. In color. Or buildings with while exploring new citites! 5. Uses 35mm film. 6. Fun! Note: All images, other than my own, are via Poketo & Lomography. I am a huge fan of bokeh (the blurring of background objects of lights in photos) and with an abundance of holiday lights at this time of year, bokeh light sources are readily available. Here are some examples with the boys, taken in front of our Christmas tree and at an outdoor light display. (Looks like Camo does the same pose everywhere, huh?) Regular old round bokeh is great, but have you seen pictures with shaped bokeh? So cool. I Heart Faces has some great tutorials on taking bokeh photos, but also on how to make your own shaped bokeh filter. And all it takes is basic supplies you already have laying around.

I have been meaning to do this for the whole of December and now that I've been threatened with the tree coming down, I finally got around to it. I went about it a little differently because my paper punch didn't go far enough across the page to put the hole in the center of the circle I cut out. Here is what you need to do: Measure the width of the glass part of your UV filter.

How to Photograph Newborns and Babies. Hey Pinners!! If you like this post, you might want to check out my other how-to photography posts at my sister site 'A Nest for All Seasons'...just click HERE! Any mama that has tried taking photos of their newborn baby knows that it is not nearly as easy as you might think.

Those babies are not only squirmy and tiny and fragile, but they also are very picky about their location! While everyone would love to take their newborn to a professional photographer every few weeks to document their growth, financially it is impossible. 1. 2. One way to keep babies warm is to put them in a peapod or sling. 3. 4. Another favorite pose of mine is to simply let baby curl up on their belly in a natural sleeping pose and photographed on a slight diagonal. As babies grow a little larger, they can start to pose themselves.

I often shoot by holding my camera under my chin while I look at the child from above the camera. Once babies reach this age, it becomes a whole different world!
