... Voici donc ma proposition de Lutrin, ce petit objet bien pratique pour tenir un livre... ou une tablette informatique. Je voulais réaliser un modèle qui ne soit pas encombrant dans ses dimensions, et surtout qui se fasse oublier entre deux utilisations, donc qui puisse facilement devenir ultra-plat. This sliceform heart decoration is so pretty, that I want to show it off. It is large enough to make a statement but not too large to overwhelm. This centerpiece could be used for a variety of parties...a birthday party, a Valentine's Day party, a shower party or even a wedding. Here is the PDF of the sliceform heart. Here is the .Studio file. Cut two of the same angel pieces and glue them back to back.
Slide the angel pieces together and place in the base but do not glue to the base until you have completely put the slices of the heart together. Do all of the upward facing slices first in one direction...as shown in the above picture. And then the other direction to complete the sliceform heart. Attach and glue the base as shown. It took me hours to design but it was worth every second. This is a wonderful Christmas present. I am sure that any recipient would love to receive it. However, this year our weather has been really crazy and we have been experiencing unseasonable weather. I just put away my snow boots and hopefully, I will not have to retrieve them again until next winter. I made an egg shaped snow globe with an Easter egg hunt scene. I made the children to look like my son and daughter wearing their favorite clothes when they were little. Look at the PDF below to see what the scenery looks like...it is hard to get a good photo of the inside of the egg. Of course, Marley loves the Easter egg snow globe.
