Alors que la rétrospective consacrée à sur Arte touche à sa fin demain (il n’est pas nécessaire de souligner que c’était tout simplement incontournable) et que quelques semaines nous séparent de la sortie du nouveau film de , , qui sera critiqué ici dans les jours qui viennent, notre camarade Alexandre Mathis de Plan-C, qui a parfois des goûts douteux mais qui les défend plutôt bien, nous propose d’établir un classement des meilleurs films d’animation, tous pays et genres confondus. Comme d’habitude avec ces tops, beaucoup de films restent sur le côté alors qu’ils mériteraient d’y être, mais il faut faire des choix impossibles et c’est là tout l’intérêt de la chose. Ainsi dans les grands oubliés du classement qui suit nous pouvons citer , , , , , , … de même le choix a été fait de ne citer qu’une fois chaque studio (Ghibli, Pixar, Disney…) et chaque réalisateur.
Mais place au classement proprement dit, en essayant d’être original:
