GW Aggro (Pro Tour Ixalan - Team Cardhoarder Brazil) Deck. Lifehacker. AER - Grixis Control. Synopsis Grixis is definitely the most badass color combination (these are facts) and always been my favorite, so ever since I came back from Standard hiatus (DTK), I have been playing nothing but Grixis. This list plays as a classic Cruel Control build; kill everything they play, generate more card advantage than them, get them out of fuel, eventually win - fun stuff. The deck wants to play as many Instants/Sorceries as possible to fuel Goblin Dark-Dwellers and Torrential Gearhulk. 3CMC-or-less Instants are especially great here, since they are in the Goldilocks zone; targetable by both. KLD was very good to us bringing MVPs such as Torrential Gearhulk, Glimmer of Genius and Unlicensed Disintegration. Although AER has not impacted our core as much as KLD did, it has brought us some very interesting tools such as Yahenni's Expertise, Disallow and Baral, Chief of Compliance.

Audio Content Made Easy: Fantastic Apps for Podcasting - Schaefer Marketing Solutions: We Help Businesses {grow} By Kerry Gorgone, {grow} Contributing Columnist By now, you probably know you should be podcasting. If you haven’t reached that conclusion yet, check out my post “It’s time for you to start a podcast,” then come back. I’m about to explain how to podcast! The “nuts and bolts” of podcasting are much, much simpler than they were when podcasts first came on the scene. You no longer need a mixer, for example, and the process for disseminating your podcast to the eager masses is much simpler. These days, you don’t even need a computer (strictly speaking). Before You Begin: There are plenty of apps available for aspiring podcasters, but before I delve into those, let me preface the app discussion by saying you must have two pieces of equipment: a quality microphone and noise-cancelling headphones.

Without quality audio, your podcast will fail. To ensure success, plan ahead. I use SonyPro noise cancelling headphones and a Rode Podcaster mic. Now, on to the best apps for podcasters: Related Posts. » Zombies in Amonkhet Standard. We're approaching a very special time in Standard, where the Zombies of Innistrad will meet the Zombies (and mummies) of Amonkhet.

Although Zombie decks have popped up sporadically in Standard over the past 18 months, they lacked the robust support they needed for long-term success. It may only take a couple of well-placed Zombies from Amonkhet to turn Zombies from a Swiss cheese full of holes to a rock-solid brick ready to smash people. And it just so happens that a couple of well-placed Zombies are exactly what we got. The weakness of Standard's Zombies is that they tend to have poor stats on their own. It only takes a few games of matching your opponent's Heart of Kiran with your own Miasmic Mummy Shop Now to realize this. Is capable of running away with a game when it survives. Today I want to talk about U/R Emerge as an archetype. U/R Emerge occupies a very odd space in the magic universe. As a player who’s been around for some time, this is one of the more unique decks I’ve come across. To be honest, it’s virtually three different decks in one, depending on how each match plays out. Sometimes it’s a tempo deck leveraging early zombies into Elder Deep-Fiend, and at other times it’s a resilient midrange deck that chips away at the board and life totals until finishing your opponent off with some evasive beats.

But sometimes it even gets to be a control deck, wrathing the board multiple times and winning with the leftovers. Typically we would think of these inconsistencies as a symptom of poor deckbuilding, yet all of these distinct strategies fit U/R Emerge perfectly and allow it to all come together in some sort of weird harmony. (speaking of harmonies, you should check out my Death & Metal article) And it’s only getting better with the release of Amonkhet. Magic the Gathering Drafting News, Strategy and Advice. Playmats.
