Näin toimittaessa suunnistusrastit muuttuvatkin informatiiviksi ja toiminnallisiksi rasteiksi joissa pitää pelkän leimaamisen sijaan ratkoa esimerkiksi tehtäviä tai perehtyä vaikka alueen kasvityyppeihin.
