Jag tjuvkikar på bänkgrannen från Novo Nordisk, framgångsrika inom integrerad rapportering, som skickar iväg ett twitterinlägg; ”non-financial data is soon-to-be-financial data. This is really the point of integrated reporting”. Hon refererar till en kommentar från CDP:s Paul Dickinson som sitter på podiet bredvid ledare från GRI och IIRC . Ett riktigt dream-team inom hållbarhetsrapportering, som dagen till ära ska de ge en lägessammanfattning med särskilt fokus på integrerad rapportering – det hetaste ämnet inom företagsrapportering just nu.
Panelen ägnar mycket tid åt att försöka definiera begreppet. Integrerad rapportering är inte två ihopsatta rapporter, snarare en rapport som visar hela bilden – det ekonomiska, miljömässiga och samhälleliga resultatet. Men ännu finns inga gemensamma regelverk för hur bolag ska inkludera hållbarhet i övrig finansiell rapportering, eller ens en terminologi. Redan vid småpratet till morgonkaffet noterar jag den rika språkfloran som omger ämnet.
