http://michaelanoelledesigns.blogspot.com/2011/01/result-from-not-being-able-to-sit-still.html I f you know me, you know I always have something to say, love organizing, adore cupcakes, and can't stay put for too long without starting a project. I'm sure you can relate. Well, it happened this past week. I'm sitting in my room, most likely blogging, and thinking to myself, hmm...those shelves are a little plain. Nothing a little fabric can't fix!

Natural Home Cleaning Recipes - Flock

http://www.natural-healthy-home-cleaning-tips.com/natural_home_cleaning_recipes.htm Although the ingredients you will be using to 'make your own cleaning products' are of organic origin, that doesn't mean they are without consequences if ingested. Please exercise the same caution with your make your own cleaning products as you would with any commercial cleaner, and keep them away from pets and children. One of the most important cleaners you can make is the “All-Purpose Cleaner.”

Yesterday On Tuesday - Flock

Do you like suculents? They don't require as much water as many types of plants, or need to be planted in deep pots. Their roots do well in shallow containers-- making them perfect for my less-than-perfect vintage and bargain finds. Supplies: I used some stained china teacups, a broken bird mug, a marred lusterware bowl, and a bowl from Target's dollar bin for containers.

Hey there! How are all of you? I have been quite busy for a while and have felt like being a bookworm this last week. It's been very nice given that the weather in Chicagoland is doing the Spring-Rain bit... I am loving the Nook too! http://alliemakes.blogspot.com/
I had a thought to keep the recipes but every so often throw in a Tasty Tuesday of things that are not recipes such as tasty decor ideas, tasty rooms, tasty crafts, etc. Click on the image to view the recipe!

I have been making money off my blog for about a year and a half now. It started off slow and has grown a little each month. I am not bringing in big bucks, but I am able to bring a little cash to help out and that makes me feel good! I am by no means an expert on how to make money off your blog. But I am going to share a couple things work for me... maybe they will work for you too!

*This post is sponsored by The Home Depot* I shared my new crush on Kwikset Smart Key technology a few days ago – and I promised to show y’all how easy it was to use the new smart key function. Since I’m a girl of my word, let’s get to gettin’! In case you missed it… Kwikset Smart Key’s re-key technology features a patented side-locking bar, central to the locks’ ability to be rapidly and easily re-keyed. The bar replaces the traditional pin and tumbler design that is particularly vulnerable to increasingly popular lock-bumping attacks. Since you now have control to reset your own locks, no worries about kids losing keys, lending out spares to someone who feeds your beloved pets while you’re away, and it can all be done in a snap!
We have also been enjoying the music about each planet that Gustav Holst composed. He composed a piece of music about each of the planets, except for Earth, and I have movies of each of them below for you to enjoy. It would be fun to read a book about a planet before you listen to the music, so it's fresh in your mind. It's also fun to dress up in the color of each planet and dance along . Each song in this Planet Suite has a personality and it's fun to move in different ways while you learn about each planet (see the video above). The Planets Suite by Holst is probably not something that most kids will sit through at one sitting.

All Thingz Related - Flock

All Thingz Related came about nearly 2 years ago when my best friend/sister-in-law and I started it together. Since we lived 600 miles apart, it was a great connection for us. Then, a little over a year ago, we suddenly weren’t sister-in-laws anymore. Because she had no choice but to get a full-time job, she was unable to blog anymore.
