Mobile Kiosk Kitchens Point To The Future Of Food Trucks [Video] With food trucks growing quickly in popularity, more and more designs for mobile kiosks are already making their way into the scene. The Mobile Gastfreundschaft or mobile hospitality project is Vienna-based design and architecture firm chmara.rosinke’s innovative response to the emerging mobile kitchen trend. This mobile kitchen design consists of a portable kitchen, a dining table, and ten folding stools. The kitchen includes provisions for a water pump, a stove, pots to keep spices, a suitable working area, and a place for kitchen tools.
The entire mobile kitchen can be folded down into two separate carts that can be easily maneuvered into any open space. The focus of the project is on creative use of public space and celebrating the joy of eating together. The mobile hospitality project won several design awards in 2012 including the DMY International Design Festival Award and NWW 2012 award.
