Homemade Raw Vegan Ice Cream Bars! & Veggie Wedgie

Funny that I am posting this today, because I started a juice fast this morning! I feel like I really need it because (believe it or not) I have been eating a lot of heavy vegan food lately…Good thing that ice cream does not go bad, coz these little guys will have to wait for me a while in my freezer Anyway, back to the ice cream! I got these cool molds to make ice cream bars at home and I wanted to make a raw vegan version of the classic ice cream I used to eat as a child.

My favorite was the white chocolate covered chocolate ice cream! For the chocolate ice cream I used my basic chocolate avocado pudding as a base. Chocolate Pudding Ice cream Base -4 ripe avocados/ 4 ώριμα αβοκάντο -1 cup raw cacao powder/ 1 κούπα ωμή σκόνη κακάο -1 cup agave nectar/ 1 κούπα σιρόπι αγαύης -1/2 cup water/ 1/2 κούπα νερό Blend everything in a high-speed blender until completely smooth and transfer in ice cream molds.

This recipe makes about 10 small ice cream bars. Enjoy! Red Velvet Rice Krispies Treats Hearts for Valentine’s Day. You may have noticed I share a lot of Rice Krispies Treats, especially around the holiday.

Red Velvet Rice Krispies Treats Hearts for Valentine’s Day

Can you blame me though? They’re sweet, gooey and oh-so-good! And these red velvet treats are to die for! Had it not been for my kiddos little sweet happy fingers, I wouldn’t have found the restraint to not eat them all. If you’re making these to just eat, no need to get fancy but if you’re making them for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day, you’ll want to check out Wilton’s selection of cookie cutters. In a small jelly roll pan you can press the treats thin enough to cut with the heart shaped cutters. With a piping bag (or plastic sandwich bag) you can frost these with pretty designs in a cream cheese frosting that makes them even sweeter. Share ‘em, eat ‘em, whatever you do, don’t leave them unattended and expect to find anything left but crumbs left over.

EDDIE ROSS - Pink Ombre Cake

Pick up three boxes of your favorite white cake mix—or work from scratch if you have the time—along with a bottle of Wilton's Icing Color in petal pink. Split each box into two batches for a total of six, then add increasing amounts of dye little by little until you achieve the ombre effect. For the outside of the cake, I used a piping bag fit with a basketweave tip. Happy baking, everyone!
