BROTHERS OF THE STRIPE. A Practice for Everyday Life. Jack teagle Entries at Doodlers Anonymous. I've been getting really into comics lately, and that's probably one of the reasons that Jack Teagle is quickly becoming one of my favourite artists. I'm told that envy and jealousy are terrible and pointless feelings, so I try my best to lock them away when I look at Jack's work. It would be easy to envy the way everything he does is awesome, or be jealous that he completely nails that elusive combination of a simplistic style and bold colours, or cry that it all seems so effortless (although I'm sure it's not).

But I've found the best thing to do is let the awesome insanity of his work whisk you away into his little world for a while, and just be glad that it exists. Jack seems to churn out work at a crazy pace, and he's been updating his tumblr this week with these new paintings. Lost Plot also features work from Liam Barrett, Rose Robbins and Simon Daly. Swordandstump: In case you weren’t able to make... Vintage Guinness Ad Brought to Life With CGI | Milky Tea. Designival | What's On. Thu, 18 Oct 2012 | By Emily Gosling Relaunching with the rather fun-sounding new Designival moniker, the former Design Symposium North, which takes place in Liverpool next month, has already lined up a dazzling parade of speakers and events. Mexico 1968 Olympics Logo Conceived in 2008, the two-day celebration of all-things-design was started by Liverpool-based design consultancies Black & Ginger, Smiling Wolf and Uniform. Lance Wyman This year’s event will be the biggest in its history – reflected in the line-up of speakers, including New York designer Lance Wyman, the man behind the lovely Mexico 68 Olympics logo, and SomeOne co-founder Simon Manchipp. The pair will be discussing the present and future of branding, chaired by Creative Review editor Patrick Burgoyne. Simon Manchipp Scott McCubbin, Uniform associate director, says, ‘Wyman and Manchipp are lining up for a feisty head to head after Wyman described London 2012 as “brash and outlandish” and didn’t live up to its potential.’
