Everything is about balance - the judges are not completely anti the use of glue, a little bit is acceptable. What they won't like is when you use it too much, or when there are clearly alternative ways you could have joined your materials. Before you start using hot-glue on your ST2F garment here’s are some reasons why the judges will be impressed if you find an alternative: Hot glue guns, or hot-melt adhesive are not designed for permanent bonds.
Instead of hot-glue we recommend you try a white glue (PVA) or natural glue for your garment. White glue (PVA) can be used on wood, paper, cloth, pottery and some plastics.
