The internet loves this mundane Wyoming livestream for some reason

However, if you don't have anything interesting to show, maybe you shouldn't. In what is possibly the most boring livestream of the year, a webcam focused on the town square of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, suddenly has thousands of viewers tuning in to watch the mundane video. The stream has been running for about six weeks, since July 20, 2016.

According to Reddit, the stream's views increased when a 4chan user posted the video along with a goofy threat to go to Jackson Hole to appear on the live feed. Do Artists Feel Stage Fright? One Artist Dares Gallery-Goers to Step into Her Shoes. Do artists feel stage fright?

Do Artists Feel Stage Fright? One Artist Dares Gallery-Goers to Step into Her Shoes

It’s not the first question you might ask when thinking about the life of an artist. But upon considering the multitude of vulnerable situations that artists encounter (when they debut a daring new body of work to a roomful of collectors or the press, for example), it seems safe to say that stage fright, or some form of performance anxiety, is part of the plight of being an artist. For a 2015 commission for the Paris Opera Ballet, Los Angeles artist and filmmaker Alex Prager channeled these emotions into a 10-minute film, La Grande Sortie, which pictures a prima ballerina as she warily returns to the stage after a hiatus.

For many of us, a time capsule is simply a shoe box filled with memorable items.

Photographer Discovers 1,200 Rolls of Unprocessed Film From the 1950's

The time capsule Levi Bettwieser uncovered, however, was approximately 1,200 rolls of unprocessed film from the 1950’s, shot by a mysterious photographer named Paul. As the creator of The Rescued Film Project, Bettwieser has been finding and recovering rolls of “lost and forgotten” film for years. To date, the project is responsible for developing nearly 18,000 images, and most notably for saving 31 rolls shot by an unknown soldier during WWII. Dpp 4 0 00 w im en. Back-Button Focusing: How to Use Full Auto and Full Manual Controls at the Same Time

With back button focusing, you use (as the name implies) a button at the back of your camera to control the focus, taking it away from the shutter button entirely. I recommend using BBF in continuous auto focus mode (that is AF-C on Nikon, AI-Servo on Canon). It’s much easier to lock your focus with back-button focusing. We often want things off centre and have to hold the shutter button half way until we reposition. How To Photograph The Northern Lights. Understanding Shutter Speed - A Beginner's Guide. One of the three pillars of photography is Shutter Speed, the other two being Aperture and ISO.

Understanding Shutter Speed - A Beginner's Guide

Shutter speed is responsible for two particular things: changing the brightness of your photo, and creating dramatic effects by either freezing action or blurring motion. In this chapter of Photography Basics, we will explain everything you need to know about shutter speed, in very simple language. What is a Camera Shutter? Shutter speed exists because of something known as your camera shutter – which, simply put, is a curtain in front of the camera sensor that stays closed until the camera fires. When the camera fires, the shutter opens and fully exposes the camera sensor to the light that has passed through your lens. What is Shutter Speed? Shutter speed is the length of time your camera shutter is open, exposing light onto the camera sensor.

Stunning Photo Shoot In Water  The art of photography is a concept that almost anyone can appreciate, but only a few truly understand and master. Distortions, a photographic series by André Kertész. Perception of the body can be blurred. Various contemporary photographers express this concept through elaborate processes of distortion. We investigate the origin of this language in the seminal work of André Kertész. Hungarian photographer Kertész (1894 – 1985), a master of photojournalism in the 1900s, creates the series “Distortions” on commission in 1933.

It includes 200 female nudes that are the result of optical experiments with reflections and mirrors. His interest in distortions begins in 1917, when he photographs a swimmer underwater.
