I saw this newsprint manicure over on The Daily Nail and thought it was adorable (especially for bookworms and word lovers like myself). I did a little Google detective work to see how to recreate it, and was surprised at how easy it is! All of the tutorials I found called for vodka or other clear distilled spirits, but we were fresh out. Half Moon Nails — Pretty Shiny Sparkly
Our intrepid beauty intern, Sara, is a die-hard DIY beauty junkie and found this amazing manicure on a Tumblr (it’s been tough to trace, but we believe it originated here .) . Tie-dyed nails, otherwise known as water marbling, have been around for the last few years, but it’s notoriously difficult to get the bright results seen here (on many pictures we’ve seen, the color looks washed out or not as crisp.)
