I’ve been having so much fun with simple woven bracelets, everyone seems to be enjoying them - so I thought I’d show you another woven bracelet idea. If you picked up the supplies to try either version of the wish bracelet tutorial, here’s another way to use the hemp cord you probably still have a lot of. Put a word to your wish, or just wear a little bit of inspiration: I found these little word beads at Michael’s and they were just perfect!
Ribbon jewelry seems to be all the rage at J. Crew these days. I have been experimenting with Ribbon jewelry for the past couple weeks. I finally made something that I deemed acceptable to wear out this weekend....a purple and green bead and ribbon necklace.
A handmade beaded choker necklace made of white pearls and seed beads accenting a black wooden circular pendant with a butterfly set off-center on its surface in brushed silver tones. The lobster claw clasp at the nape hooks to a chain that allows this necklace to be worn tight enough to be a choker or loose enough to lie against your chest while a small bead bauble at the end of the chain gives an extra bit of decorative touch.

I made my sister this icy bracelet for her Birthday this year. It is a blue version of my Pink Caterpillar bracelet I made a few years ago. It's a very thick piece with a ton of Swarovski crystals woven in - very weighty. I don't find much occasion to wear my own pink one, but my sister is much more stylish than me and knows how to make it look good.
Hello Everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I was perusing a few sites the other day thinking of some cool Grad gifts and came up with a nice list for anyone needing some assistance. All of the artists shown here are small businesses and handcraft their products.
I absolutely love these stones. In fact, they are hands down my favorite to work with. I originally bought them to custom design a birthday bracelet for a special order (aquamarine is March's birthstone) and once I started working with them they quickly became my favorite stone to work with. They give off a soft, cool and clean "vibe" that I find very appealing.
Amethyst is one of my favorite stones to work with both because I love the color of the stones as well as the feel of them at my fingertips. When i came across this large faceted coin in amethyst I was immediately inspired and the design was already building in my mind even as I paid for the gorgeous stone that would be it's focal point when finished. In this one-of-a-kind amethyst choker , a large faceted coin of genuine amethyst is joined with matching amethyst rounds in varying sizes. The handmade choker is then brought together with matching glass seed beads and pewter accents. The lobster claw clasp at the nape of this handmade amethyst necklace hooks to a chain that allows this choker's length to be adjusted in size between 14" - 18" in length (35.5 cm - 45.7 cm) for the perfect fit possible while a small amethyst stone bauble at the end of the chain gives an extra bit of decorative touch.

When I made this piece I was looking forward to autumn's full glory with the changing of leaves and pumpkins in the stores. Although the piece can be worn year round, I think that for fall fashion, this is the one piece in my shop that is absolutely perfect for the season. A dark wooden pendant coiled in the silky shine of vibrant orange nylon fiber dangles from a beaded strand of black in this handmade necklace perfect for the season .
Rainy days and teardrops is what came to mind when I first saw the faceted teal pendant used in this unique OOAK (one of a kind) handmade choker necklace . I love the rain. I love how it feels like it scrubs the world clean. In this necklace, that love is brought to life with iridescent turquoise rounds and dark brown marbled beads that compliment each other in this beaded necklace finished with a matching faceted Lucite pendant that seems to glow in the light. The lobster claw clasp at the nape hooks to a chain that allows this "Rainy Days and Teardrops" necklace to adjust between 15" - 17" in length (38 cm - 43 cm) and be worn tight enough to be a choker or loose enough to lie against the chest while a small bead bauble at the end of the chain gives an extra bit of a decorative touch.
Inspired by the shimmering Aegean sea and a breathtaking view of Greece with sea and sky as her backdrop, this beaded lanyard is filled with intricate details and accents. Sometimes when working, a little touch of fantasy is what you need to make the day move a little faster, why not imagine sea and sky and the beauty of a Grecian holiday to help whittle away the time? Perfect for a badge, keys and more, the nape of this 36-inch (91.5 cm) beaded badge lanyard is designed to lie comfortably against the back of the neck with decorative beads further down along the strand so they are shown off to their best advantage.
I saw some similar looking bracelets in the current catalog of Eves Addiction and I said, “Oh…I could easily make those!” So I did And they were so easy…you can make them too! Here’s what you’ll need. Some hemp cording or strong yarn
Stones and Leather. When I become a rockstar someday, that’s what I’m going to name my band. And I am going to wear this: I have seen these pop up in a few places this season, but what finally sparked my interest was that a coworker of mine was wearing one the other day.

Butterflies and dragonflies both represent a change in one's life. Sometimes graceful, sometimes not, but change is important either way. It breathes fresh air into stale spaces and brings about new ideas and inspirations. This beaded butterfly necklace is created with that theme in mind. Made with a handful of creamy pearls and wooden beads brought together on a strand of matching seed beads to accent the 2-inch circular pendant that dangles front and center.
