It’s become increasingly clear that media-rich applications like video are transforming how we communicate, work, and live. As someone who has spent years working in the Public Sector space, I’ve seen a major transformation in Education, including new ways we are approaching teaching and helping individuals to learn. As Hillary Clinton spoke Thursday about Internet freedom, I went into my Twitter phone booth and changed into the costume of a Chinese propagandist , declaring that Clinton actually was secretary of State for Google ( GOOG - news - people ), not the U.S. Easy joke, I know, but it cuts straight to both the good and bad in efforts by the U.S. and Google to combat censorship and promote open access to the Internet. First, the bad: Chinese patriotic voices, if not (yet) government officials themselves, inevitably will lump together Google and the U.S.
