| JuBella.com – Get Your Creative Dose. Polli. Blush Printables: Inspiration and Design for the Modern DIY Bride. My husband and I were married in 2008. I like to think that we have an amazing story. We met through mutual friends, and I've always wondered how our paths didn't cross earlier. I had just graduated college and wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life. I had big dreams of moving to NYC or Chicago, and wanted to work in an ad agency, but was having a hard time taking that plunge. Our first picture together // 2006 Falling for him made my priorities in life change. We were engaged ten months after we started dating, and married 15 months later. I had quit taking my birth control pills a few months before we were married. We were left wondering if I was even ovulating so I was sent for blood-work.

Yes, he smashed the cake in my face. My gyne referred me to a Reproductive Endocrinologist. Since the test was done with my RE using ultrasound, I was able to have the results read to me as soon as she saw them. The good news was that I finally had a conclusive diagnosis. (Inside A Black Apple) A new bunch of English roses have started to bloom, so even if things are a little fried and already too summery for my liking, there are new roses to go visit every day.

The peachy gold one (never enough peachy roses!) In the next to last photo is my favorite of the new varieties I planted this year, Crown Princess Margareta. What a gem! There is such a spectrum of bloom colors on this girl. There are so many variations in color on all the plants, really, depending on time of year, heat, water, etc (see that pair of dark & pale pink buds above.) I've really loved watering them, weeding them, pruning, etc. lately. It's a good break from working inside, from thinking and planning and sketching and painting. This is turning into a ramble, when all I really wanted to say is: the flower channel continues!
