I wrote this editor in Java. The purpose was to get a Jackson Structured Programming tool that could be used in a programming course given at the department. I've made some minor updates to it over the years but the core is from 1998.
Additional Features: "On top" and "roll up" buttons added to all windows, can add program exceptions, "Update Shortcuts" to fix broken links in favorites menu Upon installation, the Favorites and Recently Accessed buttons were immediately added to all Explorer and Open/Save dialog windows next to the normal minimize, restore, and maximize buttons. Adding folders and files to my Favorites was easy: I browsed for the target, selected it, then the caption was automatically entered (or I could change it).

Spotify Ripper is a Swedish application created just for the purpose of ripping music from Spotify. Spotify Ripper doesn’t work with all sound cards and there isn’t a list of compatible hardware so you just have to try it and see if it works for you. The program is in beta 0.1.1 which means its not very stable and there may exist bugs. When it rips music it fetches the name of the song from Spotify and names the files accordingly. The quality of the rips are limited to 128kbit/s mp3. Using Spotify Ripper to rip from Spotify:"Melody finding” is useful when remembering a melody, a tune, a song, ore a theme, but not its title or performing artist. Other names used for melody finding are “melody search”, “melody retrieval”, “regcognize melody”, : “Name that tune” (also the name of a game), “find song by melody” etc. This concept of “melody finding” with “melody finders” is often confused with “Music search”, “song search” or “tune search”, the more generally used search for music. “Music search engines” are based upon text search only. The user enters a (part of a) title, the name of an artist in order to find the tune that contains that phrase in its related information.
