Here's a fun tutorial on how to make a message bangle that's one-of-a-kind, done in the sun, waterproof and weatherproof. Even after several trips to the beach, it won't fade or wash off! Essentially, it's the Perfect Summer Bangle. Used in this tutorial: Inkodye Red Prepare. All you'll need for this project is a raw wooden bangle (we got ours from DIYBangles.com ), a black paint marker, plastic wrap, and some Inkodye! http://lumi.co/blogs/projects/3790072-perfect-summer-bangle

Perfect Summer Bangle

I noticed this stash of cupboard doors at my local salvage yard. The white one was the perfect size to make a serving tray. The old drawer pulls—also found at the salvage yard—made ideal handles. Their swirly shape gave me the inspiration for the pattern I painted.

I am SO excited about my latest "project" ... it's kinda a long one. ....But it'll be worth it. :-) Are you ready??? OK, so to preface this I need to remind you that I am a TALL gal. 5 feet 11 inces, to be exact. And my legs take up a great deal of those 71 inches.

Mismatched Chair Bench

http://decorhacks.com/2011/05/mismatched-chair-bench/ To heck with YouTube and Farmville; my new favorite online timesucker is Pinterest! I could spend hours surfing around that site because it’s chock full of amazing things like this bench from Kindall’s Creations that is made from three mismatched chairs. She found the chairs at thift stores, paying between $2 and $6 each. Her bench has a cheerful, farmhouse-y look to it, but you could give this a totally different attitude with different combinations of paint and fabric.

How To Make A Stylish Photo Frame For Several Photos

Here is a simple yet stylish photo frame that can accomodate quite many photos at once. The idea is very simple. Fasten twines on the empty frame and hang photos using clothes pins on them. You can use a frame you bought or a frame you made by yourself. To make it you just need to find some wood strips, sand them, paint or stain them and fasten together with the staples and nails. http://www.shelterness.com/how-to-make-a-stylish-photo-frame-for-several-photos/
Last year I remodeled my home office , and it’s been a genuine pleasure working in this pretty and personalized space. For the longest time, I was loving the sofa that sat on one wall, but over time, paperwork started piling up, and I reasoned I needed a more practical solution if I really was going to run a business from home. So I made some changes! I started with a credenza I found at (where else?) http://www.centsationalgirl.com/2010/11/credenza-practical-meets-pretty/

New England Through Yummy Mom's Eyes: Tutorial: Photo Wood Blocks

Here is my first step-by-step tutorial... and I made it an easy one. I made these blocks for my mom and mother-in-law for Christmas and they loved them, so I thought I'd share. They are easy, although time consuming. And if you think they are just too much work...
