My original collection of free finger puppet patterns is consistently our most viewed post and was also one of the first posted here, so I thought it was time to update it! In the last year, I have made my fair share of finger puppets! Most recently, we shared a free pattern for some ocean creatures. The first set contains a template for a hammerhead shark, squid, deep-sea angler, submarine, and walrus. Our second set of ocean finger puppets contains a free pattern for creating an eel, seahorse, pelican, lobster, and manta ray! During Halloween last year, we created these Halloween character finger puppets. These puppy finger puppets I created from a free pattern I found on Pinterest were the first set of finger puppets (and one of our other most-loved posts) we shared here last year! It is for sure one of my favorite fabrics. Not necessarily to sew because it is so slippery but because it is super soft and warm. I have had several requests to add minky to the back of car seat tents or rag quilts lately so I thought I would take a picture while I was doing one for you all. This should work with all types of quilts there is one small place that could be a problem depending on the look you are going for. I will let you know in that step. 1. Lay the minky on the ground with the soft side facing up and the quilt on top with the back facing up.

The course exceeds my expectations by far, Lauren makes Illustrator really doable and very fun. However, my free time is rather limited, so unlike some other students I haven't finished the entire course yet and am not ready to release a complete pattern now. I wanted to share a small pattern I made as an exercise though. Nothing fancy, but perfect for summer! The pattern is a simple wrap skirt in size 6.
