In case you haven’t yet heard, episode 1×10 of FlashForward aired this past week in Australia, which obviously does not celebrate American Thanksgiving. Since they got it early, the Guardian has posted a summary of the episode. Warning: this contains major spoilers (assuming you are prepared to wait until Thursday to see the episode yourself). If you don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read any further. Tonight’s episode of FlashForward focused primarily on Bryce, who went off to Japan in search of the woman he saw in his vision. We’re introduced to this mysterious woman, Keiko, who is a mechanical engineer at a robotics company in Japan but obviously dreams of something different for her life (including the possibility of meeting the man she saw in her vision).

FlashForward may be cancelled but some fans have refused to see the future that ABC has given them. Various campaigns are underway to persuade the alphabet to bring the show back from the cancellation graveyard – including a planned blackout across cities around the world on June 10th. To be honest, unless the network is convinced financially, I don’t think there’s much chance of the show coming back for another season.
