As you may or may not know, next week I’ll be leaving for a trip to Australia. I’ll be away or in the process of traveling for two weeks. During that time, I’ll be turning over the reigns of the comic strip to two very capable creative teams. The first week I’m gone, PvP will be written and drawn Ethan and Malachai Nicolle, the brothers who created the viral internet sensation Axe Cop . The Nicolle brothers have a very interesting writing process. You see, when their webcomic strarted, Malachai (who is responsible for the ideas and stories) was five years old.I just finished penciling the penultimate page of Cuanta Vida. I plan to to the last one this weekend, time permitting. As I’ve mentioned before I’m planning to do NaNoWriMo this year. For the uninformed it means I’m writing a novel next month. The goal is 50 thousand words in 30 days.

Just before we went to Ohayocon last month, Seraphim asked me to make her a hoodie with a QR code that led to the Megatokyo website. Not a bad idea, really - you’d have to scan it to find out what it was for. The only problem was, I didn’t put too much time into understanding how QR codes worked. To put it on a black background I inversed the QR code which, needless to say, didn’t work. You can imagine the level look I got from her at the convention when it was discovered that the QR code she was wearing was unreadable. Oops.
