Tooth decay - what to do without a dentist - how to harden a cavity - temporary fillings. Here now a list of suggestions how to tackle the repair of one's own teeth in case you prefer (or have to) try doing without dental emergency treatment and/or "proper" dental work, i.e. aim beyond just lessening or temporarily numbing the pain before rushing to the next available dentist.

11 Things Empty Nesters Want Parents Of Little Kids To Know

This is also the week when my oldest heads off to Amsterdam, where he’ll attend a new (very small) university. After a year at a very large university in Boston, he decided theater-style lecture halls packed with hundreds of students weren’t for him. Just as I did when he went off to college the first time, I find myself trying to conjure up memories of my son’s first steps, first words, how hard he laughed that time I fell out of the kayak, how he played the “Toy Story” soundtrack incessantly on the piano to unwind, and how he alone never failed to ask me about my day when I walked in the door from work.

The sad reality is — it’s all a bit fuzzy. As I’ve often said, you think you’ll remember every key moment of your kids’ lives — but you won’t. And that’s why I’ve decided to put forth a bit of advice from parents who’ve already raised their kids to those who are still in the trenches. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8.

Homemade Watercolour Paints - 5 Kitchen Ingredients

If your kids love simple science activities and art, then they’ll love making these homemade watercolour paints. The hooligans love to paint so we do a lot of painting here in my daycare. Actually, I’ve never met a toddler or preschooler who doesn’t love to paint. There’s something just so lovely about dipping your brush into a fresh pallet of colour, and making big, bold, colourful strokes on a piece of paper.

We use all kinds of paint here in my daycare – acrylics, finger paint, chalk paint, tempra paint, liquid watercolours, and solid watercolours. Now, I don’t know about your kids, but the hooligans can blow through a tray of those store-bought watercolours in a matter of minutes. Historia dla Polonii.

13 signs you have a toxic tooth infection and how to treat it without going to a dentist : The Hearty Soul

An abscessed tooth is a common term used to describe an infection at the root of a tooth or between the gum and a tooth. This infection causes severe tooth decay and can be caused by bacteria that enters the tooth (through a dental cavity, chip, or crack) and spreads all the way down to the root tip. If left untreated, it can lead to severe pain and inflammation.

The affected tooth loses its ability to combat infections which can reach the pulp chamber of the tooth. When the pulp in the root tooth dies, pain decreases. If left untreated, it may spread to the bone that supports the tooth and causes severe life-threatening complications. The symptoms of an abscessed tooth include throbbing and sharp toothaches, pain when chewing food, altered ability to taste, bad breath, swelling of the cheek, red and sore gums, difficulty swallowing food, swollen lymph nodes under your jaw, fevers and general discomfort.
