2016: Obama's America. Piss Christ. Piss Christ Piss Christ is a 1987 photograph by the American artist and photographer Andres Serrano. It depicts a small plastic crucifix submerged in a glass of the artist's urine. The piece was a winner of the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art's "Awards in the Visual Arts" competition,[1] which was sponsored in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, a United States Government agency that offers support and funding for artistic projects, without controlling content.

Description[edit] The photograph is of a small plastic crucifix submerged in what appears to be a yellow liquid. The artist has described the substance as being his own urine in a glass.[2][3] The photograph was one of a series of photographs that Serrano had made that involved classical statuettes submerged in various fluids—milk, blood, and urine.[4] The full title of the work is Immersion (Piss Christ).[5][6] The photograph is a 60x40 inch Cibachrome print. It is glossy and its colors are deeply saturated. The Conservative Declaration. Judge: Post ‘Support Civilized Man over Savage’ ad. Text smaller Text bigger A federal judge has issued a final order requiring the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority to accept an advertisement for the sides of buses that pleads, “In Any War Between the Civilized Man and the Savage, support the Civilized Man.

Support Israel. Defeat Jihad.” The ruling came from U.S. District Judge Paul A. The AFDI ad was rejected by the MTA, and the court case resulted. The MTA had refused to run an anti-jihad advertisement that, according to the MTA, referred to Israel’s enemies as savages who engaged in jihad. But the court noted that politically controversial speech, even demeaning speech, already had been allowed on the buses, and the MTA was restricting only that speech which “demeaned specific groups or individuals that fit within the MTA’s protected classes.” His decision said the MTA’s ban on “demeaning” speech was unconstitutional.

Officials with the AFLC called it a “stinging rebuke” to the MTA and General Counsel James Henly. Chick Fil A Liberals’ double standard on full display. “We are very much supportive of the family — the biblical definition of the family unit.” With those innocuous words, Chick-fil-A President Dan Cathy last week set off a firestorm of invective in his direction from those on the left who never miss an opportunity to bash and trash traditional Christianity — especially if they can push the Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender agenda in the process. Never mind that Cathy’s outlook should come as no surprise to anyone remotely familiar with his family’s Atlanta-based restaurant chain, which foregoes millions of dollars in potential revenues each week by choosing to close on Sundays. Cathy and his father, chain founder Truett Cathy, have never for a moment tried to closet their conservative beliefs.

You’ll note that Dan Cathy said nothing about planning to treat LGBT customers any differently than other customers. Yet his implied criticism of the push for gay marriage was sufficient to make him and his chain a sudden pariah to many liberals. Rush, Hannity, Savage face ‘death by Obama’ Text smaller Text bigger PALM BEACH, Fla. – The radio shows of broadcasting giants such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage and many others could be drastically changed if Barack Obama wins a second term in office, says a brand-new book forecasting the president’s agenda through 2016. According to “Fool Me Twice: Obama’s Shocking Plans for the Next Four Years Exposed” by Aaron Klein and Brenda J. Elliott, Obama’s advisers are so adamant about silencing voices who oppose their position on man-made global warming, they are “outrageously” recommending Obama “reinstate the anti-free speech Fairness Doctrine in order to shut up some of global warming theory’s most effective challengers.”

The Fairness Doctrine required broadcasters to give equal time to opposing viewpoints on controversial issues, effectively making political talk radio unsustainable for any local station. But in 2011, the Presidential Climate Action Project report resurrected the idea. “I’ll use myself,” he said. Oregon Man Sentenced to 30 Days in Jail -- for Collecting Rainwater on His Property. (AP photo) (CNSNews.com) – A rural Oregon man was sentenced Wednesday to 30 days in jail and over $1,500 in fines because he had three reservoirs on his property to collect and use rainwater. Gary Harrington of Eagle Point, Ore., says he plans to appeal his conviction in Jackson County (Ore.) Circuit Court on nine misdemeanor charges under a 1925 law for having what state water managers called “three illegal reservoirs” on his property – and for filling the reservoirs with rainwater and snow runoff. “The government is bullying,” Harrington told CNSNews.com in an interview Thursday.

“They’ve just gotten to be big bullies and if you just lay over and die and give up, that just makes them bigger bullies. The court has given Harrington two weeks to report to the Jackson County Jail to begin serving his sentence. Harrington said the case first began in 2002, when state water managers told him there were complaints about the three “reservoirs” – ponds – on his more than 170 acres of land. NYT: Journalism Is Dead — For Now. The lack of reaction to a New York Times report filed by Jeremy Peters on July 15 and found on the front page of the its July 16 print edition has, at least to me, been nothing short of stunning. Maybe the item’s cutesy title (“Latest Word on the Trail? I Take It Back”) made potential readers believe that it would be a puff piece. Maybe it was management’s odd decision to print Peters’ piece on a Monday instead of a Sunday where it arguably belonged.

Maybe the blowback from President Obama’s painfully revealing “you didn’t build that” statement on July 13 in Roanoke, Virginia , monopolized the attention of those who would otherwise have expressed outrage over what Peters revealed. Those three explanations border on being plausible excuses. What Peters described has gotten the outraged attention of ideological opposites Joseph Farah and Ellen Ratner at WND.com — and that’s about it. Consider the following excerpts from Peters’ production: Latest Word on the Campaign Trail? I Take It Back. WATCH: The amazing, uncensored interview where Glenn reveals untold stories from the past three years. Top U.S. Islamic Group Calls for ‘Gun Control’ FAA Has Authorized 106 Government ‘Entities’ to Fly Domestic Drones. The Boeing Phantom Eye is a drone designed to remain aloft for days. (AP Photo) (CNSNews.com) - Since Jan. 1 of this year, according to congressional testimony presented Thursday by the Government Accountability Office, the Federal Aviation Administration has authorized 106 federal, state and local government “entities” to fly “unmanned aircraft systems,” also known as drones, within U.S. airspace.

“We are now on the edge of a new horizon: using unmanned aerial systems within the homeland,” House Homeland Security Oversight Subcommittee Chairman Michael McCaul (R. -Texas) said as he introduced the testimony. “Currently,” said McCaul, “there are about 200 active Certificates of Authorization issued by the Federal Aviation Administration to over 100 different entities, such as law enforcement departments and academic institutions, to fly drones domestically.” “The number of recipients since that time has increased,” McCaul noted.

FAIL: Group attempts to rehabilitate the swastika. On Glenn’s radio program this morning, The Blaze’s Robin Walensky reported on story about a pro-swastika banner that flew over a New York City beach this weekend. “And a swastika banner flies over a New York City beach,” Walensky said. “New Yorkers stunned to see it. The enormous sign sponsored by ProSwastika.org. It shows the Jewish Star of David with a swastika in the middle of it.”

The Huffington Post released a story last week in advance of Swastika Rehabilitation Day (June 23) that included a propaganda video from the pro-swastika group. “Today it is shunned in the West due to a lack of understanding of the swastika’s true origins, but mainly because it was hijacked by the Nazis which gave the swastika a tarnished reputation which it does not deserve,” the video explains. “Can you imagine getting that e-mail as a voiceover person that this is your gig for the day,” Stu asked. “And I put my hand over the titles of the book. “You kind of close the door on the swastika.” Occupyers smash. The Fight Against Copyright Enforcement & The Fight For Civil Liberties Are The Same. With the ongoing success of the world's Pirate parties, I've seen the copyright industry start to push back, claiming that copyright enforcement can't be tied to civil liberties; that they are two separate issues.

That's not a true statement from the copyright industry. The whole point of the fight for net liberties is that the copyright monopoly cannot be enforced without cutting down civil liberties. Here's why. Before the net, if you wanted to send a copy of something that was protected under the copyright monopoly, it was an absolute given that you could do so.

You would send that copy in the mail without a single thought of repercussions. You could send copies of drawings, you could send mixtapes of music, you could send copied movies. The reason for this was simple: the right to communicate in private is a fundamental human right, and the copyright monopoly is a commercial distribution monopoly that carries significantly less weight. Let me explain. It goes even further. NEOCONSERVATISM IS SPREAD THROUGH…TOM AND JERRY CARTOONS. Full disclosure: We are not making this up. Neoconservatism, a formerly obscure ideology founded at the University of Chicago in response to threats to Western Civilization, has apparently so pervaded American culture that it can corrupt children into believing that Islam must be utterly destroyed, and that the weak must be conquered by the strong, without them even knowing it. And the instrument for this propaganda?

Tom and Jerry cartoons. Jerry the mouse fending off an infidel At least that’s the explanation given by Sudanese professor of political science Muhammad Waqi’Ullah, who appeared on a Saudi Arabian TV show Monday to explain neoconservatism and its (according to him) terrifyingly pervasive influence around the world: Waqi’Ullah begins the interview by explaining the origins of neoconservatism with surprising accuracy. Also, we have to ask: Has Waqi’Ullah ever even watched a Tom and Jerry cartoon? WATCH: Glenn delivers message of unity and love at Faith and Freedom Conference. Watch the full speech via C-Span HERE During his visit to Washington, D.C. on Friday, Glenn spoke to the Faith and Freedom Coalition and called for people of faith to unify and stand together. And while many in the mainstream media are seeing this as a message for religious conservatives to unite behind Mitt Romney (who was not mentioned), the content of the speech was much more in line with what Glenn has been saying for close to a year: We need to unite on common values, principles, and content of character rather than letting our differences divide us.

The message was not unlike the one he delivered at Restoring Courage and Restoring Honor, in that it focused on unity, love, and faith changing the world rather than politics and elections. CBS News reports, “(Glenn Beck) said Christians must put their differences aside and unite ‘on the things we can unite on.’” Find out more about Glenn’s plan to work with musicians, filmmakers, and artists HERE.
