The site defines an “explosive chorus” as, quote, “[It's] like take-off: The bit in the song that makes you A) Sing, B) Cry, or C) Sprint to the dance floor. Or all three.” NME.com is a British music site . . . so the list seems a little weighted on British artists. Also, they’re serious about that “sprinting to the dance floor” thing, because the list is definitely more pop than rock, and more contemporary than classic.
