The site defines an “explosive chorus” as, quote, “[It's] like take-off: The bit in the song that makes you A) Sing, B) Cry, or C) Sprint to the dance floor. Or all three.” NME.com is a British music site . . . so the list seems a little weighted on British artists. Also, they’re serious about that “sprinting to the dance floor” thing, because the list is definitely more pop than rock, and more contemporary than classic. BUT there are a bunch of HFS artists on there.
