Due to the complexity of the design, the Texas bottles were blown individually by hand. External labels were also applied individually by hand and later baked into the surface of the glass. Each featured a synthetic cork closure that was color coordinated to match the particular variety of tequila the bottle contained. The Texas bottles were initially produced in a limited edition as collector's items, and consumer response was overwhelmingly positive. Fusion also produced the bottles for Republic's standard product line. Like their Texas counterparts, the standard bottles each feature custom applied external labeling, and a color-coordinated synthetic cork closure.
