Sie wurde von dem Wasserschlauch einer Reinigungsfirma erschlagen. Ein durchfahrender leerer Reisezug habe den Schlauch offenbar aufgewirbelt, teilte die Polizei mit. Die Frau, die offenbar auf die S-Bahn Richtung München wartete, wurde am Kopf getroffen und stürzte hart auf den Bahnsteig. Sie sei sofort zusammengebrochen und später im Krankenhaus an ihren schweren Verletzungen gestorben, sagte ein Polizeisprecher. Gegen einen Beschäftigten der Reinigungsfirma, der den Bahnsteig mit dem Schlauch gereinigt habe, werde wegen des Verdachts der fahrlässigen Tötung ermittelt.
