We started a research project about food in other cultures/countries. The kids loved going to this New York Times article and learning about breakfast in other countries. Next, they each picked a random country and went to CultureGrams to learn about what types of foods are eaten there. They loved learning new country names and what life is like there! We started to wonder about lunch for other kids. We also decided we needed to share pictures of what our lunches look like, so each day during lunch I am going in to the cafeteria and we are photographing a few 2nd grade lunches.
