THE 15TH SHANGHAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. The 15th SIFF Starts to Accept Applications for Films and Projects Online The Shanghai International Film Festival (June 16-24, 2012) is calling for film and project entries for its 15th edition starting on Nov.15, 2011.The competition sections include the Golden Goblet and Asian New Talent awards. The feature films can also sign up for the International Film panorama while the shorts will compete in Mobile SIFF. SIFF’s project market will collect projects for investors. The 14th Shanghai International Film Festival set records with 1,519 features from 102 countries and regions and the first-ever Mobile SIFF received 9,875 shorts, its most ever. Finally, Turkish director Orhan Oguz won the Golden Goblet Award for HAYDE BRE. The Best Director Award went to China's Teng Yung Shing for the film RETURN TICKET. The Golden Goblet Award and Asian New Talent Award have made great progresses in professionalism, artistry and authority.
