Elsie and I always loved going to the mall with our mom growing up, even before we loved fashion. Our mom would always get us a soft pretzel at Auntie Ann's to share and it was always a fun treat. I still sometimes get a soft pretzel when I'm at the mall, as it reminds me of all those trips with our mom. Plus, soft pretzels are AWESOME! So we thought it would be fun to try and make our own at home. We made original and cinnamon sugar soft pretzels plus two kinds of sweet buttery dipping sauces. http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2011/10/we-love-soft-pretzels.html

We love soft pretzels!

{Copycat Recipe} Texas Roadhouse Rolls

Our family has made the move to Utah and we're up and running with the internet! Woo hoo! I was starting to feel lost there for a bit. http://www.cupcakediariesblog.com/2011/09/copycat-recipe-texas-roadhouse-rolls.html

Monday Morning Mmmm: Snickerdoodle Bread — Giving Up on Perfect

Remember the snickerdoodle cake ? If you haven’t tried it, you should. It is so good that my friend Erin and I have debated whether or not it’s appropriate to eat snickerdoodle cake for breakfast. http://www.givinguponperfect.com/2011/12/monday-morning-mmmm-snickerdoodle-bread/
http://penniesonaplatter.com/2010/10/27/cheddar-bay-biscuits/ Yesterday was Ben’s birthday. In addition to the gift I bought him, I told him he could choose whatever he wanted for dinner…the dessert and all. He came up with Pasta Fagioli and this Italian Pizzelle Ice Cream Sandwich for dessert. Along side the main dish, he requested some biscuits I’ve posted before and called Cheesy Garlic Biscuits .

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

I’m excited!! I love naan, but if I were to order it at my favorite Indian restaurant as much as I wanted it, half my bill would be dedicated to just the bread. Well, today was my lucky day, because I taught myself how to make it! My head is spinning from the savings! It will economize at least $23.27 throughout my lifetime! Staggering.

Classic Buttermilk Biscuits

http://acozykitchen.com/classic-buttermilk-biscuits/ My love for biscuits started as a young lad. My mother was adamant that every night–no matter what was going on–we sat, as a family, and had dinner. Since it was the way things were, I usually looked forward to it, unless of course, I was watching something awesome on television like… My So-Called Life or Roswell , in which case I would grumble at the sound of my mother calling me in to the kitchen. She didn’t really trust my brother and I to do too much; the only tasks she asked of us were to set the table, make a salad, which till this day I still hate, and/or make biscuits.
http://www.howsweeteats.com/2011/08/pizza-swirl-bread/ I have good news and bad news. The good news is… I made you bread. It tastes like pizza.
