Conky is a lightweight system monitor. It sits wherever you put it in your desktop and tells you a bunch of system info like RAM usage, CPU, etc. It can work in both Unity and GNOME Classic (not sure about GNOME3) and any Environment for that matter. To install Conky, simply type sudo apt-get install conky in the terminal. After the installation had completed, type conky in the terminal to launch it. installation - What is Conky, it's uses, and how is it implemented installation - What is Conky, it's uses, and how is it implemented

Basic Cisco 800 Router Configuration for Internet Access | Networks Training Basic Cisco 800 Router Configuration for Internet Access | Networks Training The Cisco 800 series routers are part of the “Branch Office” category, used mainly for SOHO purposes or for connecting remote branch offices to a central location. They are “fixed hardware configuration” devices, meaning that they don’t have any plug-in hardware slots for inserting additional interfaces to the device (all the interfaces are fixed). All the 800 series models come with a 4-port 10/100 managed switch used for connecting the internal LAN computers, and with an IOS software that supports security features including the Firewall set. The main difference of each model is the WAN interface.

Open Data Kit » Participate Open Data Kit » Participate There are several ways in which you can get involved with our project. The easiest way to start is to join the opendatakit community mailing list. Much of the community interaction occurs on this main list so subscribe and participate. If you are a software developer seeking to add features or create your own custom version of the ODK software, please also join the opendatakit-developers mailing list. Our issue tracker, wiki, and source code can be found at http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit. Both mailing lists are moderated to filter out spam:
We launched Google PowerMeter as a free energy monitoring tool to raise awareness about the importance of giving people access to their energy information. PowerMeter included key features like visualizations of your energy usage, the ability share information with others, and personalized recommendations to save energy. We partnered with device manufacturers and utilities around the world. PowerMeter - Save Energy. Save Money. Make a Difference.

RE<C - A Google.org Project to Develop Electricity from Renewable Energy Sources Our approach to RE<C Through RE<C, we made several investments in companies working on potentially breakthrough technologies. For instance, we invested in companies like Brightsource Energy and eSolar to help expand their work on concentrating solar power technology, and in Potter Drilling to advance its innovative geothermal drilling technology. And we've also sponsored research to develop the most state of the art Geothermal Map of the US, helping better understand the potential for geothermal energy to provide renewable power that’s always available. And we’ve had an engineering team working to improve a type of concentrating solar power technology called the solar power tower. The solar power tower is an exciting technology that works by using a field of mirrors, called heliostats, to concentrate the sun’s rays onto a solar receiver on top of a tower. Solutions to help the world live and work more sustainably We developed the Renewable Energy Cheaper than Coal (RE<C) initiative to drive down the cost of renewable energy. We’ve published our results to help others in the field continue to advance the state of concentrating solar technologies. RechargeIT.org RechargeIT.org RechargeIT was launched in 2007 as an effort within Google.org to demonstrate plug-in electric vehicle (EV) technology and accelerate its adoption. With several new EV’s now available in the marketplace, we’ve retired the RechargeIT initiative. In fact, we’ve updated our EV infrastructure to include more than 30 of the newest plug-in vehicles as part of our employee car sharing service, Gfleet. We’ve started with the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf and we’ll be adding new models as they become available.
Products – Google Green Giving people insight into a company's impact on climate change In April 2010, we partnered with the nonprofit Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) to include environmental ratings into Google Finance. These ratings evaluate how well a company measures and reports its greenhouse gas emissions. The ratings also measure a company's awareness of the risks and opportunities that climate change poses to its business. The score is listed as “Carbon Disclosure Rating” and appears in the “Key stats and ratios” box on the right side of a company’s Google Finance page.

What is Project Euler? Project Euler is a series of challenging mathematical/computer programming problems that will require more than just mathematical insights to solve. Although mathematics will help you arrive at elegant and efficient methods, the use of a computer and programming skills will be required to solve most problems. The motivation for starting Project Euler, and its continuation, is to provide a platform for the inquiring mind to delve into unfamiliar areas and learn new concepts in a fun and recreational context.
