And that’s what I did for lunch today. Anne Ditmeyer, another Paris based creative freelancer (check out her blog for some great Paris tips) and I headed to the recently opened Chez Aline. Chez Aline is a fab little (almost the same size as my kitchen) lunch place where Delphine Zalpetti (ex Le Verre Volé) cooks up fresh simple dishes. The place used to be a horse butchers hence the old sign “chevaline” with a neon lit horse that still hangs outside.

It was happenstance that the young chef Delphine Zampetti came to open the tiny Parisian eatery Chez Aline. Last May, Zampetti, who has worked at Café Caché and Le Verre Volé, was walking down Rue de la Roquette in the 11th Arrondissement when she noticed a butcher shop with a charmingly retro vibe.
