http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Main_Page If you need help following instructions or if you're stuck at some step and something has gone wrong there are several ways to get help from the CyanogenMod users and developers community. First, carefully re-read and review all applicable instructions and make sure you didn't do something wrong or out of sequence. Many of these instructions involve long commands, and just one wrong character will mess the whole thing up.

Barebones - CyanogenMod Wiki

From CyanogenMod Wiki Some of the apps that come with your phone can be safely removed without causing stability issues. They take up space and use resources that could be used for other things. Removing unwanted apps will theoretically make your phone run faster and smoother, plus, you can configure your phone just the way you want it. Below is a chart that shows what apps might come pre-installed in CyanogenMod. You can delete any app that shows 'yes' under 'Remove'; However, if you delete an app, you will no longer be able to use its functionality until you reinstall it.

If you have synced the device with a Google account, then the contacts, calendar, Gmail & select other Google-related data will not be lost and will come back after the next sync. However, you should backup anything you want to keep that is not stored on the SD card: It would also be a good idea to backup everything stored on the SD card in the rare case the SD card must be formatted to resolve any major problems.

***ATTENTION IF YOU ARE COMING FROM A 4349+ STOCK ROM or MOD based off that PLEASE VISIT THE FOLLOWING LINK TO DOWNGRADE YOUR BOOTLOADER AND TNT VERSION BEFORE FLASHING CWM AND THIS OR ANY OTHER ROM**** RC1? What happened to BETA? I skipped it... this was a MAJOR overhaul of code and features (this is one reason it has been a month since the experimentals stopped) and has really reached the stable build point. So what's missing? Nothing except High Definition Video Hardware Decoding... not sure if we will ever get that one working right on Gingerbread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1031250

-At sleep, if you have the USB cable plugged in and find that you cannot wake the device, unplug, and press power to wake (this is more prevalent on the stock/stock’ish rom). -If your BT Audio device does not work with the the stack that comes within your ROM, no audio will be sent to your device, and once you disconnect, you will need to plug in a 3.5mm jack and unplug to get audio back. You can download gscript lite from the Market, and put the insmod line in there, and tap when you want to insert it and use its functionality. If you were using SetCPU prior, with ‘custom’ and this kernel set, please go to device selection and select auto. Please delete the custom setcpu file on your filesystem: http://droidbasement.com/db-blog/

Droid Basement

Hey folks, my VegaN is starting to get really borky and everything is FCing all over the place. Short of a complete data wipe, any ideas? Maybe wipe Dalvik in Recovery? And if THAT doesn't work, there is a stable release of CM7 that I want to install but xda warns to ONLY use CWMod .8 doing it.
