AROMATHERAPY FOR CAREER, LIFE MISSION AND INDIVIDUALITY GUA. Why keeping a laundry bin in the bedroom is a feng shui no-no The first thing to understand is that sleep is not just about going unconscious. It is a time when your upper complex (astral body and Higher Self) separates from your lower complex (physical and etheric body). This allows your upper complex to replenish itself by tuning in to astral or higher spiritual realms, and gives your lower complex time to rest and recuperate. In Samuel Sagan’s book, Awakening The Third Eye, he explains: ‘Seen from outside you lose consciousness, meaning you fall asleep. But in reality your consciousness is not lost, it is just somewhere else. It has taken a different orientation. Instead of cognizing the physical world, the upper complex wanders through astral layers, or sometimes in the higher realms of the Spirit.’ How this relates to laundry bins is that during sleep your etheric body expands and becomes much more permeable.

I am trying to find books about landscape/garden design with feng shui and have read a few of them, but none of them is really what I am looking for. The ones I read and found are more concept oriented with/in the nature, and especially the ba-gua directions associated with 5 elements. Basically, they are all about having water element in North, fire pit in south, white flowers in NW...etc..

However, this kind of information is very basic and "works only on its own" without looking the entire landscape design. I am looking for feng shui landscape design books that illustrate the entire landscape working TOGETHER, as opposed to water element in north or fire pit in south. Perhaps I don't have the right understanding, but I would love to have COLORFUL flower beds here and there and around my house.

Also, I am more interested in flying star, due to its nature of changing over time, instead of fixed sectors. Please help.. P.S. Recommended Feng Shui books. You will have heard of people using feng shui to balance their home, but you might not have heard of farmers using it to manage their land. In this episode of LandTalk Pat Dunne of Ripplebrook tells us how the Chinese art of energy flows impacts his tree-growing and beef cattle businesses.

After pursuing a professional career in Melbourne Pat returned to his origins in West Gippsland to start a family. Beginning with a holding of 30 acres he gradually increased that number to 300 over the next 30 years. All the numbers add up, and you soon realise that with Pat nothing happens by mistake. “Getting the ‘feel’ right, not just for me, but for others that use the land such as the cattle” articulates the essence of Pat’s management approach.

Over the years, he’s partnered up with Landcare and Melbourne Water to develop a network of windbreaks and wildlife corridors, along waterways, throughout his property. Five Elements Chart - Chinese Customs. Five Elements - Chinese Customs. Maybe the Taoistic theory of the Five Elements can be seen as a further, more refined step to understand and categorize or analyse the Yin-Yang philosophy. The Theory of the Five Elements describes the interaction and relation between Yin and Yang, between phenomena. Taoism theories use symbols to describe phenomens of reality, hence each of the Five Elements represent an aspect of a dynamic process, a processe's phases of change. In this sense, Wood is not only the actual wood of a tree as defined by the substance, but describes the character, the dynamic state, the elemental force of the element.
