Their self-titled debut album was extremely successful, and was directly reminiscent of the work of The White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, AC/DC, and Jimi Hendrix. In 2009, their second album “Cosmic Egg” was released, and upon embarking on a worldwide tour, Wolfmother experienced an equal level of positive response and success.
It was recently announced that a new album will be ready for release sometime in 2012, and despite the departure of band members Will Rockwell-Scott and Aidan Nemeth in February of this year, the album will surely be a hit. Until then, here are a few of their best tracks to get you familiar with their 60s/70s-inspired rock style.
