Okay, I've been googling all afternoon. reading and attempting multiple fixes, I would like to state the problem I am having, and the ways at which I have already attempted to solve it. Hopefully this thread can help myself and others with our thunderbolt gps problems. I've read of people taking forever to get a gps lock, or not being able to obtain a gps lock at all, there are also people who have incredibly inaccurate gps. I have found several things that claim to be able to solve these issues but I've yet to find a thread that offers more than one of these solutions. Go to phone dialler and punch in *#*#4636#*#* aka *#*#INFO#*#* (This may take a minute to pop up) Then go to Phone Information and scroll down to SMSC and enter your networks SMSC number e.g. +440000000000 Now Press update now all should work 100% if that did not work retry all the steps but press refresh after.
