Smith of Portland was asked to prepare an article on the Rothschilds. His article follows this introduction. Satan's selective breeding program has been continuing down through the ages hidden from the eyes of the public. One of the most powerful Rothschild bloodline families in America are the Springs. The Springs were originally the Springsteins when they came to America in the mid-1700s and settled in NY and NJ.
The Payseurs were one of the original big railroad families along with Issac Croom and William H. In 1808, Nancy Hanks, of the lineage of the McAdden Scottish family visited some of her family at Lincolnton, N.C. While a lawyer, Abraham Lincoln had a sexual liaison with Elizabeth who was the illegitimate daughter of German King Leopold, who is also of elite blood lineage. A. Manly P. 22 Statistics That Prove That The American Dream Is Being Systematically Destroyed. Michael Snyder, ContributorActivist Post The American Dream is being systematically destroyed right in front of our eyes and most Americans don't even realize what is happening.
In the old days, if you were a hard worker and you played by the rules you could always find a good job. That good job would enable you to buy a house, buy at least one car and support a family. It would also enable you to take a couple of vacations each year and buy some nice things for your family. After working for 30 or 40 years you would look forward to a comfortable retirement.
But these days fewer and fewer Americans are able to enjoy the American Dream. Something is fundamentally wrong with our economy. The following are 22 statistics that prove that the American Dream is being systematically destroyed.... #1 As the economy has declined, the number of Americans living month to month has soared. Another recent survey found that 23 percent of all small business owners have gone an entire year without pay. Cantona: Israel is racist, violates human rights - Israel Culture, Ynetnews. French soccer legend backs campaign to release Palestinian player, ban Israel as UEFA Under 21 competition host Soccer legend Eric Cantona has co-signed a letter with other international figures to call for the release of Palestinian player Mahmud Sarsak, who is on hunger strike in an Israeli prison. In a letter sent to UEFA President Michel Platini, the former Manchester United star said Israel should be subjected to the same scrutiny faced by Euro 2012 hosts Poland and Ukraine.
"Why are these same groups silent when Israel is to host the UEFA Under 21s competition in 2013? Racism, human rights abuses and gross violations of international law are daily occurrences in that country," the letter said. Cantona during his visit to Israel in 2007 (Photo: Kobi Barada) "It is time to end Israel’s impunity and to insist on the same standards of equality, justice and respect for international law that we demand of other states," Cantona continued.
A great supporter of Palestinians. On Responsibility, War Guilt and Intellectuals. Schivone: In 1969, addressing a community of mostly students during a public forum at the steps of MIT, you said: “This particular community is a very relevant one to consider at a place like MIT because, of course, you’re all free to enter this community — in fact, you’re invited and encouraged to enter it.
The community of technical intelligentsia, and weapons designers, and counterinsurgency experts, and pragmatic planners of an American empire is one that you have a great deal of inducement to become associated with. The inducements, in fact, are very real; their rewards in power, and affluence, and prestige and authority are quite significant.”
Let’s start off talking about the significance of these inducements, on both a university and societal level. How crucial is it that students understand the function of this highly technocratic social order of the academic community? CHOMSKY: How important it is, to an individual, depends on what that individual’s goals in life are. Yes, There Is an Alternative to Capitalism: Mondragon Shows the Way. There is no alternative ("Tina") to capitalism? Dani Martinez, innovation director at Orbea bicycles, part of Mondragon Co-operative Corporation, in Mallabia, 2011. (Photograph: Vincent West/Westphoto for the Guardian) Really? We are to believe, with Margaret Thatcher, that an economic system with endlessly repeated cycles, costly bailouts for financiers and now austerity for most people is the best human beings can do?
Capitalism's recurring tendencies toward extreme and deepening inequalities of income, wealth, and political and cultural power require resignation and acceptance – because there is no alternative? I understand why such a system's leaders would like us to believe in Tina. Of course, alternatives exist; they always do. Modern societies have mostly chosen a capitalist organization of production.
Capitalism thus entails and reproduces a highly undemocratic organization of production inside enterprises. . © 2012 Guardian News and Media Limited. The Armed Forces’ response to rape makes ‘military justice’ an oxymoron. Thirty-four women and men appear on camera in the documentary “Invisible War,” which opens in theatres June 22, to discuss being raped in the military. Statistics flash on the screen: 20 percent of women are sexually assaulted while serving in the United States military.
An estimated 500,000 women have been assaulted in the last 20 years. In fiscal year 2009, 3,230 women reported sexual assault, and the Department of Defense estimates that 80 percent of women never report — meaning their own numbers indicate 16,150 women were assaulted that year. An estimated one percent of male servicemembers are sexually assaulted in the military each year, or around 20,000 men. And in 2010, only 175 rapists did time. Producer Amy Ziering told Raw Story, “This is a chronic, systemic across-the-board condition that we need to address on a daily basis,” but, she added, “The way it’s reported typically is these one-off incidents in isolation.”
Megan Carpentier is the executive editor of Raw Story. Confusion can be beneficial for learning: study. Most of us assume that confidence and certainty are preferred over uncertainty and bewilderment when it comes to learning complex information. But a new study led by Sidney D’Mello of the University of Notre Dame shows that confusion when learning can be beneficial if it is properly induced, effectively regulated and ultimately resolved.
The study will be published in a forthcoming issue of the journal Learning and Instruction. Notre Dame psychologist and computer scientist D’Mello, whose research areas include artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction and the learning sciences, together with Art Graesser of the University of Memphis, collaborated on the study, which was funded by the National Science Foundation. They found that by strategically inducing confusion in a learning session on difficult conceptual topics, people actually learned more effectively and were able to apply their knowledge to new problems. US Banks Love Real Dollars, and Illegal Drug Money Comes in Cash A recent article in The Guardian UK offers evidence that "while cocaine production ravages countries in Central America, consumers in the US and Europe are helping developed economies grow rich from the profits.
" According to The Guardian UK story, the study by two Colombian professors found that "2.6% of the total street value of cocaine produced remains within the country [Columbia], while a staggering 97.4% of profits are reaped by criminal syndicates and laundered by banks, in first-world consuming countries. " According to a 2011 article in AlterNet: Franklin told Truthout: A Tale of Two Conferences: The Social and Ecological Crises of Capitalism. It’s impossible! I said.No Johnny, we’re impossible. It’s like it always was ten million years ago. It hasn’t changed. It’s us and the land that’ve changed, become impossible, Us! Sometimes the calendar of international conferences attended by global elites serves up potent lessons for the rest of us, when they shine a spotlight on the deliberately murky affairs of the people who run the system.
At these seemingly separate gatherings, we in truth observe the two sides of the capitalist coin. At the original Earth Summit in Rio, it was generally accepted that environmental questions could not be separated from economic ones. Indeed, so desperate were the Brazilian organizers of Rio+20 to cajole the British premier to attend, they changed the date of the conference so as to avoid conflicting with the much more important and worthy 60th anniversary celebrations of the Queen of England’s ascension to the throne.
In the long run the unfrozen north could cause devastation. Welcome to the Rule of Law Revolution. Journalism's twitter trap.

THE ECONOMY: Time For Companies To Pay Their Employees More. Social vulnerability. In its broadest sense, social vulnerability is one dimension of vulnerability to multiple stressors and shocks, including abuse, social exclusion and natural hazards.
Social vulnerability refers to the inability of people, organizations, and societies to withstand adverse impacts from multiple stressors to which they are exposed. These impacts are due in part to characteristics inherent in social interactions, institutions, and systems of cultural values.[1] Because it is most apparent when calamity occurs, many studies of social vulnerability are found in risk management literature (Peacock and Ragsdale 1997; Anderson and Woodrow 1998; Alwang, Siegel et al. 2001; Conway and Norton 2002). However, social vulnerability is a pre-existing condition that affects a society’s ability to prepare for and recover from a disruptive event. Definitions[edit] Vulnerability derives from the Latin word vulnerare (to be wounded) and describes the potential to be harmed physically and/or psychologically. Risk management. Risk management is the identification, assessment, and prioritization of risks (defined in ISO 31000 as the effect of uncertainty on objectives) followed by coordinated and economical application of resources to minimize, monitor, and control the probability and/or impact of unfortunate events[1] or to maximize the realization of opportunities.
The strategies to manage threats (uncertainties with negative consequences) typically include transferring the threat to another party, avoiding the threat, reducing the negative effect or probability of the threat, or even accepting some or all of the potential or actual consequences of a particular threat, and the opposites for opportunities (uncertain future states with benefits). Introduction[edit] A widely used vocabulary for risk management is defined by ISO Guide 73, "Risk management. Vocabulary Risk management also faces difficulties in allocating resources. Knowledge, Power, and the Inalienable Right to Know. On the classroom wall is a poster with a jumbo-sized declaration: Knowledge is power. I juxtaposed a quotation from John Dalberg-Acton: “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” I always encourage the critical thinking of learners, so I posted the quotation without comment.
While both of the aphorisms can be persuasive, they are superficial and do not capture the nuances that underlie knowledge and power. I differ with Dahlberg. People who desire power are already corrupted in that sense and the attainment of greater power more fully reveals the nature of their corruption. To desire power for oneself is morally questionable. Knowledge can be a stepping stone to power, but it is not equivalent to power. For example, what greater repository of knowledge is there than a computer?
In a school, the principal is the nominal “power,” but does that necessitate that such a person is more knowledgeable than other teaching staff? The Danger of Knowledge? The Misuse of Power. Last known gay Jewish survivor of the Holocaust dies. The last known gay Jewish survivor of the Holocaust has passed away in Berlin, just days before he was due to celebrate his 89th birthday, the Jerusalem Post reports. Gad Beck was an Zionist resistance fighter during the Second World War, and, in post-war Germany, a bold campaigner for gay rights when homosexuality was still illegal. Under the Nazi regime, he famously dressed-up as a Hitler Youth member, and entered a deportation camp to free his lover, Manfred Lewin.
However, Mr Lewin refused to be separated from his family, with whom he was later deported to Auschwitz, and killed there. His life has been documented in two films, ‘The Life of Gad Beck,’ and ‘Paragraph 175,’ the latter a look at Nazi persecution of homosexuals under the eponymous penal-code, which provided legal mandate for the deportation of thousands of homosexuals in occupied territories.
