The Henry Ford
The Henry Ford (also known as the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village , and more formally as the Edison Institute ) is a large indoor and outdoor history museum complex and a National Historic Landmark in the Metro Detroit suburb of Dearborn , Michigan , USA . [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Named for its founder, the noted automobile industrialist Henry Ford , and based on his desire to preserve items of historical significance and portray the Industrial Revolution , the property houses a vast array of famous homes, machinery, exhibits, and Americana . The collection contains many rare exhibits including John F. Kennedy 's presidential limousine, Abraham Lincoln 's chair from Ford's Theatre , Thomas Edison 's laboratory, the Wright Brothers ' bicycle shop, and the Rosa Parks bus.

The announcement ends weeks of speculation about Manchester's interest. John Lynch is president of Manchester's MLIM company. He said said he and Manchester -- who prefers the moniker "Papa Doug" and refers to himself that way on his Web site -- would not comment extensively on the sale.

One thing which people often forget is that the Rede is the WICCAN Rede and appropriately only applies to Wiccans. The resulting 2006 Wixárika Calendar is a collaboration between the Wixárika community of San Miguel Huaixtita in the state of Jalisco (México), Sarah Corona Berkin (Universidad de Guadalajara) and University of Florida graphic design students (BFA 2006) Cassie McDaniel, Avery Smith, and 14 others enrolled in my spring 2005 junior-level Image and Illustration course. Between February and November 2005, we worked on this project to visualize the Wixárika concept of time both in Florida and in Mexico. When we began this project, a primary concern was our social and cultural responsibility to the Wixárika community. This concern was at the foundation of our decision-making processes – in the ideation and design phases – in the visual and written language of the final calendar. Corona gathered the narrative specifically for this project from community leaders.
