STEM Classroom Grant - Welcome to STEM. The STEM PreK-12 Classroom Grant is available for educators and administrators to apply for funding towards a classroom project or activity (in-school or afterschool) focused on improving student understanding and experience in the subjects of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Awards will be granted to projects or activities that offer innovative and creative activities for STEM subjects. This grant cycle has closed, and will reopen on July 1, 2015. Grant requests may vary, with a maximum award of $1500.

Educators are eligible to receive funding ONCE during the 2015-2016 year. This grant seeks proposals that are unique and based on individual classroom needs. You will find a PDF version of the application HERE. *NOTE: Funding can include travel costs and fees associated with field trips (within Utah borders), however, funding will not be provided for meals or apparel. Eligibility Criteria: Employed full-time as a PreK-12th grade teacher and spends at least 50% of their work week in direct instruction with students in a classroom or classroom-like setting; Intends to continue teaching in the consecutive school year; and Has at least three years teaching experience as a PreK-12th grade teacher.
