[C'EST POUR VOUS] La Ville de Paris lance le Social Good Lab, par Ismaël Le Mouël. L'impact social des nouvelles technologies représente un sujet à fort potentiel, comme l'a illustré en septembre dernier la Social Good Week en réunissant plus de 2000 participants aux quelques 25 conférences organisées dans plus de 10 villes en France. Enthousiasmée par cette initiative, la Ville de Paris vient de lancer le « Social Good Lab », un incubateur du Social Good, lancé en partenariat avec Paris Région Innovation Lab et le Comptoir de l'innovation. L'objectif est, comme pour la Social Good Week, de favoriser l’émergence et le développement de projets du Social Good (NDLR - c'est à dire des services innovants, issus de technologies, permettant de répondre à des problématiques sociales et environnementales).
Mais cette fois, cela va plus loin, puisque la Ville de Paris dédie un lieu au Social Good. Si vous avez un projet "Social Good", et que vous cherchez des locaux et un accompagnement, c'est donc le moment : le premier appel à candidatures est ouvert jusqu’au 30 avril 2013. Every year, more and more people are working on businesses and organizations designed to improve the world. As we look forward to the rest of 2013 and the continued expansion of the field, here’s a list of resolutions that social entrepreneurs should be thinking about. 1. Talk to Your Users If you aren’t talking to your users, you’re doing it wrong. Find ways to engage your clients in program, product, and service design. The only way to be relevant is to ensure that you are grounded in the realities of your audiences. 2. The social and environmental challenges we are trying to address are often symptoms of unhealthy systems. 3.
The truth hurts. 4. We all have a deep emotional connection to our work. 5. The challenges we face will not be addressed by any single initiative. 6. Psychologists tell us that as we age, we become self-conscious in classroom and other public settings, and quietly begin to suppress our playful tendencies for fear of being childish or breaking with social norms. Creativity requires that we fight against this trajectory.At IDEO, being playful is almost an obsession. The company believes that great, innovative work cannot happen without trial-and-error, experimentation, and maybe even a little tomfoolery. Few know this better than Brendan Boyle and Joe Wilcox of IDEO’s Toy Lab. I spoke with Boyle and Wilcox by phone about how they integrate play into their work lives, and culture – and how you can, too.
