Airbus is wrapping up the A380’s Latin America tour, during which the 21st century flagship visited multiple cities and took part in the region’s largest air show to underscore its capabilities in meeting this dynamic marketplace’s evolving air transport requirements. During its circuit, the A380 demonstrator aircraft made appearances at Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, followed by a starring role in Chile’s FIDAE air show near Santiago. The aircraft continued to Buenos Aires, Argentina today for a final stopover before returning to Airbus’ home base in Toulouse, France. Destacados El ensamblaje final del primer A350 XWB ha dado comienzo en la nueva línea de ensamblaje final del A350 XWB en Toulouse. La última fase en la construcción del A350 XWB comienza con la unión del fuselaje central, de 19,7 metros de largo, con el fuselaje delantero, de 21 metros de largo. Esta primera estructura del A350 XWB se utilizará para realizar los ensayos estáticos estructurales a los que se someten los aviones nuevos como parte de su proceso de certificación.
