Liane and Robert are some of my dear friends. So you can imagine my joy when they told me they were engaged!
And you can imagine my elation when they told me they were going back to Liane’s home state of Hawaii for the wedding! And I’m sure you can imagine my heartbreak when they told me their date…because I was already booked. However, I was so excited that Melanie was able to go and document their day for them! Liane and Robert chose the Queen Emma Summer Palace to wed at, harkening back to Hawaii’s unique history and culture. They wore leis! They used native Hawaiian florals. And despite the downpour that day, Melanie did an absolutely fabulous job with the photos! I especially loved the details about Liane’s dress. Details aside, I love Liane and Robert’s love.
